Believe it or not, ice cream season is HERE! Though it may not feel like it in some parts of the country, here in California we’re already celebrating this sweet treat. Take a look at the Baskin Robbins flavor of the month ‐ Snacknado Layered Sundae! You may want to try some even if you still have snow on the ground! I’m always excited when Baskin Robbins asks me to review something for them!
Just like the name suggests, Snacknado is a tornado of your favorite snacks rolled into one! It’s “Salty Caramel flavored ice cream loaded with chocolatey potato chips and pretzels swirled with candy pieces and chocolate fudge and salted pretzel flavored ribbons” (there are literally so many amazing flavors interacting here that I took the description straight from the Baskin Robbins site for you.)
If you ask my husband, he can’t tell you what flavors are involved. He’ll just tell you that he LOVED it. I barely even got a taste (sucks, right?)! He did think chocolate covered potato chips were a little weird and was hesitant to try it, but after one bite, he couldn’t get enough. The flavors come together and do a happy dance in your mouth (and my mouth was very HAPPY). Much like the other Baskin Robbins flavors, Snacknado doesn’t disappoint. Um…the people who concoct these flavor combinations are geniuses.
What the ice cream actually tastes like is a little hard to explain in a blog post and really something you need to experience for yourself. It’s like salted caramel meets chocolate covered pretzel meets ice cream. The best I can say is that it’s really, really good!
Baskin Robbins also has many other great flavors to tempt your taste buds. With names like Easter Egg Hunt, Baseball Nut, Icing on the Cake, Pink Bubblegum Ice, Rock ‘n Pop Swirl Sherbet, and Strawberry Cheesecake, how can you not want to try every single one? If you’re looking for more classic flavors, Baskin Robbins has you covered there too. They have lots of old favorites, like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Rum Raisin, and Old Fashioned Butter Pecan. It’s safe to say that whether you’re in the mood for nutty, super sweet, or something a little fruity, you can find it there. Even those of you that are dieting will find some reduced fat and frozen yogurt flavors to treat yourselves.
And of course, since it’s from Baskin Robbins, you know you’re getting quality ice cream. I’ve done a few other blog posts about Baskin Robbins products, and they’re equally amazing.
