Assorted green paint swatches
Peel and stick letters
We were able to find the green peel and stick letters we used in the sample photo at our local Dollar Tree store. Two large sheets were only $1, which is a great value if you would like to make a lot of these with kids. The paint sample swatches can be found at your local hardware store and some retail stores. You will find a wide assortment of green swatches, so pick a few that have shades that appeal to you.
1. Begin by laying your paint swatches flat. Brainstorm some words that can go on your bookmarks. Some choices could be: Lucky, Luck, Irish, Pot O’ Gold, Luck o’ the Irish, Ireland, and other St. Patrick’s Day related words.
2. Simply peel and stick your letters and press them to the paint swatch. You simply place a letter in each box working vertically, or if you would like you can place several letters in a box working horizontally. The choice is yours!
3. You can opt to finish your bookmarks by adding stickers, or punching a hole in the top and running a ribbon through. Or, you can leave them as is like our sample product.
So get your green on while saving some green. Gather your supplies and give this fun and super duper frugal DIY project a try!
