Meet Grace Thomas: American Girl’s 2015 Girl of the Year

by

Um, I LOVE American Girl dolls! I’m thrilled to tell you about the latest addition to my American Girl family. Her name is Grace, and it fits her perfectly. You just know that if this little girl was real she’d be full of grace for sure.

American Girl Doll Grace

Meet Grace Thomas

Take a look at her. Isn’t she gorgeous? Grace is the 2015 Girl Of The Year! She has long, dark brown hair with a tiny accent braid and side swept bangs, sparkly blue eyes, and the most ADORABLE freckles on her nose. She’s 18 inches tall like the other American Girl Dolls, and she likes to bake.

She’s got a super cute outfit – a white shirt with a sparkly Paris Eiffel Tower graphic, a pretty pink skirt with a black bow on the front, and my favorite part of her outfit is gray ankle boots with tiny gathered straps and bows on the sides. She accessorizes like any other little girl with the charm bracelet her Mom gave her. You can even order her to come with pierced ears and blue bow studs, red heart studs, and dangling earrings resembling the Eiffel Tower. She’s the perfect doll for the girly girl in your life.

One of the things I like the most about the American Girl dolls is that they have vinyl arms and legs and a cloth body. The arms and legs wipe off if they get a little dirty while playing, but the dolls are still huggable. And…I also like that they’re all the same size, so if your little girl has more than one American Girl doll, they can interchange the clothes.

Grace comes with her own paperback book – appropriately named Grace, so your little one can follow in her adventures. Also available for this little beauty are a pastry cart, welcome gifts (including a beret), a baking outfit, a bistro set, and even a French Bulldog! All are sold separately.

The American Girl Dolls are so wholesome. I really like that they epitomize what we all want our daughters to be – ambitious, hardworking, kind to others…the list goes on and on. Um…you may remember my review of Samantha Parker, another American Girl doll. I think they’re great role models.

American Girl Doll Grace

You can find Grace at Americangirl.com and she retails for $120 without the earrings, and $136 with the piercing package. While you’re at it, take a look at some of Grace’s friends. You’re sure to find an amazing addition to your family too.

Do you have an American Girl doll living in your house? Which one is your favorite?
