On January 1, 2010 Mattel and WWE officially became partners. Awesome, right? The new year and decade commence with the biggest launch in Mattel’s 65-year toy-making legacy, bringing forth elaborate detail the likes of which have never been seen before in WWE action figure history. From the heavy detailed, intricate aspects of Rey Mysterio’s signature mask and CM Punk’s tattooed torso in Mattel’s Elite Series, to Kofi Kingston’s brilliantly colored gear and Evan Bourne’s kick pads in the Basic Series line, these figures boast the most authentic ring attire ever.
All figures offer extreme articulation, amazing accuracy and authentic details like arm bands and tattoos. Each series includes 6 Superstar figures, with special assortments dedicated to WWE Pay-Per-View events like Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and Summer Slam. Display stand included.
I was sent the John Cena Action Figure doll to review. And, he’s AH-mazing! My son is a HUGE fan of the WWE, so the John Cena doll is absolutely perfect for him (he’s a huge fan). The details are absolutely wondrous and the new moves (yes, he has those too) allows for hours of fun-filled play for your child.
I was amazed on how this 7 inch action figure was able to demonstrate some of the moves that are seen on the WWE. My son owns most of the older models and was was surely pleased with this one. He has never seen John Cena bend in so many different positions before. With the elaborate details that this action figure offers, I’m sure both kids and adults alike will be pleasantly please.
