Um, remember the back yard makeover? I can’t wait to have a nice back yard that’s fun to hang out in and that I can invite guests to enjoy with me! We’ve still got a way to go but we’re getting there!

No one wants to sit and stare at the cement while they visit, right? Um, boring! The Balta Kathleen Floral Indoor/Outdoor Rug is the PERFECT solution for boring backyards. It’s stylish, resistant to stains, and my guests can remove their shoes and tan those toes! (Sock lines in the summer are so ugly!) I really like the design and so far, it’s holding up really well.
Want to serve beverages in something cute? How about the Chef Buddy 4‐pc. ”Ctrl‐Alt‐Delete” Hot & Cold Cup Set? It’s adorable, right? If you’re anything like me, you break out the good glasses when guests come over. They look great in their hands, but someone always ends up dropping one or two and then they’re shattered all over the ground, along with my heart because I really loved them. Um, so in my search for something awesome but less breakable, I came up with this set. I really like it. At first, it was a little weird drinking out of these 8 ounce square cups, but they’re unique and perfect, and you get used to them. You could also use them for holding things like relish, small fruits, and dips when you entertain.
Remember the review I did for the conversation set? I really liked it, and I still do, but I’m so tired from making over my indoor and outdoor space at the same time that I decided I wanted to add a little bit more cushion to it for myself. I solved this problem with the Terrasol Outdoor Patio ”U” Chair Cushion Set and Terrasol Marisol Setee Outdoor Cushion. The pillows add more cushion and softness and they’re extremely comfortable. I love the look of them with the set too (I got them in black). It’s great to sit out there with a nice cold iced tea, put my feet up, and look around at the progress we’re making!
The back yard is definitely getting there. It still needs work, and right now with everything we have going on as a family combined with the extreme heat, things are moving a little bit slower than I’d like them to. I’m still really excited to show you the final product though, so stay tuned!
