What do you use your blender for? I use mine for lots of things, ranging from smoothies to soups. There’s really nothing that I wouldn’t put in there. Especially in the summer time, there’s no better way to cool off than with a drink full of crushed ice, right?
When I was asked to review the Hamilton Beach Wave Action Blender, I was excited to try it out because I’ve heard so many good things about the Wave~Action System. The Wave~Action System is designed to forcefully push the food down into the blades rather than flinging it onto the sides of the container. And that’s exactly what it does. There were no chunks of food on the sides, and unlike quite a few blenders I’ve tried, it didn’t just puree the bottom half of the jar. The Wave~Action System made sure that my Mixed Berry smoothie was blended perfectly from top to bottom.
PERFECTLY BLENDED
What do you think. Doesn’t it look delicious? It’s the simplest recipe in the world. I just put a bag of mixed fruit and a bottle of aloe vera juice into the blender and pressed the button. The 700 watt peak power motor did the rest of the work. Quick, easy, and delicious.
I also love the lid spout on the top of the 48-ounce glass jar. It makes it so easy to pour out anything. For thicker mixtures, you just use the included stir spoon.
The jar is glass, so that means that it’s dishwasher safe and BPA-free which gives me piece of mind. I like that I can put hot foods in there without worrying about chemicals leaching. Cleanup is a cinch – just throw the jar and lid in the dishwasher and wipe down the base with a damp cloth.
