We’re still working on the home makeover project, and I thought it would be cool to do something fun and different with the bathroom. So many bathrooms are the same – flowers, ducks, fish, or something similar. I really like the beach, but that’s kind of “regular” too. So I decided to go with flip flops. They’re cute, beachy, and different.
And….
I got my makeover supplies from Kohl’s. They have such an awesome selection of products and at such great prices, especially if you’re a cardholder. I find myself checking there first when I need something.
Before & After…
First, I took the So Wavy Striped Flip Flops and made a wreath out of them. It was super simple – some flip flops and hot glue. I really like the way they look. Because they’re flip flops, the wreath is super light too and you don’t need to put big heavy nails in the walls to hang it up.
Before & After…
Next, I got the Shoreline 3‐pc. Nesting Basket Set to hang on the wall for extra storage of things like towels, toilet paper, and toiletries. They’re the perfect size, and I really like that they’re sturdy enough to hang.
I also painted an additional basket I already had to match, and filled it with the extra flip flops left over from the wreath. It looks so cute!
Before & After…
I finished my shopping with almost everything else in the Cabo Flip Flop Bath Collection, with the exception of the shower rings and two of the hand towels. I just happened to have matching ones at home already.
Before & After…
What do you think of the rug? I think it’s absolutely adorable, and it’s so plush when you get out of the shower. The towels are all lush and absorbent, and they just add more color and style to an already awesome space.
Of course, I can’t do all of this working with flip flops without getting a pair for myself too, so I grabbed a pair of SO® Women’s Solid Flip‐Flops to wear. They’re super comfortable.
Before & After…
Who knew making over a bathroom could be so much fun? Ours looks really awesome now, and it’s the one I let my guests use. If I could only get the kids to put the top back on the toothpaste, it would be even more perfect. A mama can dream, right?
