WARM UP YOUR HOME WITH A KALATY JAVA RUG

by

I’ve been searching high and low for the perfect rug for our living room, and until now, haven’t come up with anything. Everything is either too small, too large, too cheaply made, or just too darn ugly. With this in mind, when I was asked to review another rug, I really hoped the Kalaty Java Rug was “the one”. And it was! I’m so happy with my new rug! Take a look!

KALATY JAVA RUG

I received this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Um, I can’t stand walking on super rough wood floors or stubbly carpet. I like my rugs to feel soft and comfortable under my feet. This rug feels amazing underfoot. It would be great if you have kids that like to sit on the floor when they play games or watch TV too. Um, they’ll want to spend more time putting together that floor puzzle when the rug isn’t scratching up their sensitive skin.

You can order it in 6 different sizes or in runner length, so there is a lot of versatility here. If one of the standard sizes doesn’t work for you, you just contact the company and they can do a custom size as well. Why not get a few and make your rooms match?

It’s very thick and heavy and you can tell it’s a really good quality rug just by feeling it. I’m not worried that it will wear out in heavily trafficked areas. It vacuums well too and doesn’t get all matted afterward. The pile is made of premium wool and something called Silkette – and that’s exactly what it feels like. It’s like silk under your feet. I feel like a celebrity in my own home.

As far as color, I chose Java, which is a nice, deep brown. I like the dark colors because they don’t show stains (I do have 3 kids you know!) and they match with just about everything. There are several other different patterns and colors to choose from to suit your own personal style however, from oriental styles to solids and everything in between.

Kalaty Java Rug

The Kalaty rug really looks great in my living room and I really like how it pulls the whole room together. I love it so much that I just want to hang out in there (and walk around in bare feet!) Unlike other rugs I’ve looked at in the last few months, I know this one’s going to be a keeper. And since it’s made with such high quality, I know it will last a really long time too.
