For this jenny craig review, I was provided a free Jenny Craig Weight Loss Starter Kit. However, the opinions expressed are entirely my own.
So, I’m not 20 anymore, and my metabolism has slowed down some (um well..a lot). I hate having to worry about my weight. It was so nice when I was younger and I could just eat anything I wanted and not have to be concerned about having that second piece of cheesecake (oh, the memories!). Unfortunately, now that has seemingly caught up with me, and like most women my age, I need to shed a few pounds and start being more careful about what I eat because my body doesn’t require as much fuel as it used to. (Side note: I wish my car worked that way!)
Jenny Craig Reviews-A Best Weight Loss Starter Kit ?
In the interest of losing a few pounds, I looked around at all the options, and seriously, they’re all so confusing. You’re tracking something, you’re buying some special piece of equipment, you’re monitoring some nutrient…it’s just a nightmare.
I don’t quite understand how you’re supposed to succeed in eating less food and therefore losing weight when your entire day revolves around food math? Anyway, the Jenny Craig 3 day starter kit keeps it nice and simple. You get 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners, 3 snacks, and 3 salad dressings. It’s that simple.
And cheap! It costs $39.99 at my local Walmart for 3 days of food. Now I just said I don’t love math, but this one is pretty simple so I’ll give you the rundown. Approximately $40 divided by 3 days equals $13.33 a day.
That’s an affordable solution. Um, they make the food, they provide the food, I eat the food, and lose weight for less than $20 a day? Yes please.
It’s also delicious. I have to admit I was sort of expecting it to taste like cardboard. “Diet food” isn’t really known for being super flavorful and exciting, so I was very pleasantly surprised when it tasted like actual food. And not just edible food but really good food that didn’t leave me hungry five minutes later.
It’s really a great system. The salad dressings are especially delicious when I pair them with a fresh salad from the farmer’s market here. There’s nothing quite as yummy as locally grown produce!
Next time you’re at Walmart, be sure to check out the Jenny Craig Weight Loss Starter Kit. You have to buy food to live on for the week anyway. You may as well buy nutritious and delicious food that gives you energy and keeps the weight off. It’s simple, convenient, and you really have nothing to lose by trying it out.
Except those unwanted pounds that have been creeping up on you since high school!
