Seasoned vacationers will tell you that there are a few must-have items they love taking on their trip. For each family, it’s a little bit different. I’ve put together a little list of things we like to bring along with us on vacation.
Gaiam Lunch Bag — If your kids are like mine, they’re probably hungry all the time. This is a great bag to bring along with you for kids that need a little snack to get them through the rest of the trip, but it’s got enough room to hold an entire lunch for them if you decide to picnic too. If you don’t want to lug a heavy bag around this lunch bag is the perfect choice.
Juicy Couture Women’s Sequin Wedge Sandals — Who doesn’t love sandals? No one wants to wear tennis shoes or any other heavy shoes while they’re traveling, and these are perfect for walking and the beach. They’re so comfortable I sometimes forget I’m wearing them. They’ll look great with shorts, jeans, or dresses, and they’re the high quality you’d expect from Juicy Couture.
Apelpi Power Bank External Battery Charger — No one wants to carry a million cords with them, so this power bank is the perfect thing to carry so you can charge all of your devices. Don’t let the fruit shape fool you it works with both Apple and Android products and can add up to 64 hours of music time to your smartphone. Give the kids a pair of headphones and your trip will go much smoother!
Home Essentials 4pc Gingham Mason Jar Set — These are super cute and and perfect for traveling. They’re stylish, spill proof and even come with a straw, which automatically makes the kids love them. They’re so much better looking than traditional travel mugs. They’re glass, so they will break if you drop them, but that also means that there are no nasty chemicals lurking in the plastic.
Nike Flex Motion Slide Sandals — No one wants sweaty feet, especially while on vacation, and these are perfect for keeping feet cool and dry while walking distances or hanging out on the beach. My husband really likes how light and comfortable they are. They look great on him too – much better than a lot of men’s sandals that resemble something from biblical times.
My Monopoly Game by Hasbro — Do your children constantly complain that they’re bored while you’re on vacation? Um, mine do! That’s why I always bring something fun with us to keep them entertained. You’d think the trip would be entertaining enough but sometimes it’s not. My Monopoly is the perfect boredom buster for kids. Why? It allows them to place their pictures on the game pieces so it’s like they’re literally in the game. How fun is that? Kids and adults alike will enjoy playing My Monopoly. You can make it even more fun by adding in some sites you’ll be seeing on your trip. The kids will be surprised once you take them to one of the places you’ve placed on the game piece. When you get home from your trip you can put photos of where you went too. Fun, right?
Samsonite 2in1 Neck Pillow — Long flights and car trips just got better – you can actually rest through them with this neck pillow. The microbead fill makes it conform to your head and neck for ultimate comfort, and it folds and zips into a nice little carrying pouch for convenience. Unfortunately, it won’t make your husband a better driver, but maybe you can sleep through the rough parts!
Donna Sharp Quilted Patchwork Cell Phone Pouch — If you’re looking for the perfect way to carry your cell phone, the Donna Sharp Quilted Patchwork Cell Phone Pouch is definitely the perfect choice. It holds your credit cards, phone and cash, so you can leave the heavy handbag at home. Handbags are cool, but after an entire day out, you get tired of holding them! The pouch also comes in your choice of 12 different color patterns, so you can find one to match any style.
