This is my first contributing post here on Mama of 3 Munchkins, so I wanted to first introduce myself before I get into the goods about the awesome product I got to write a Hum Daily Cleanse review!
My name is Stephanie, and I’m a blogger over at The Moody Blonde, and now a contributor here at one of my favorite blogs! How exciting is that? I jumped at the chance. Ty is awesome. But of course you already knew that!
Anyway, I’m a blogger, a virtual assistant, and a mom of 3 girls – 2 in college and one in preschool. No, I didn’t plan it that way. But sometimes you get things you never knew you wanted. And my little one is one of those things.
Speaking of the little one, she was an emergency C-section. And I sport the classic C-section pouch. Apparently some people have a C-section and go back to normal. I have never met one of those people in person, but I’m pretty sure they don’t eat, or they started at a size 00 and are now a 0. So when Ty asked me if I’d like to try the hum cleanse to the rescue, my exact words were, “Flat belly? Yes please!”
It’s a 21-Day Cleanse program exclusively sold at Sephora. It includes 21 packets – one for each day, and each packet contains 4 capsules. You take 2 of the Daily Cleanse capsules between meals without food, and then the other 2 Flatter Me capsules before your main meals. At first, it was hard to remember to take all of those pills. Once I put them on the kitchen counter, it was easy to remember. They come in this convenient little box and you just take out a packet every day.
The capsules contain all natural supplements like organic chlorella, green algae, and Bladderwrack to stimulate and boost metabolism. They also contain detoxifying herbs, specifically red clover, milk thistle, and dandelion root to cleanse the liver, kidneys, and blood for clear skin. On top of this, the capsules contain 18 digestive enzymes plus ginger and peppermint for optimal digestion and relief from bloating. This is the part that is supposed to give you the flatter stomach. It’s recommended that you take the capsules along with exercise and a healthy, low carb, high protein diet.
I’m two weeks into this rescue cleanse, so I’m going to give you my results so far. I don’t have a flatter stomach and haven’t lost any weight. As far as digestion goes, let’s just say that my stomach makes about as much noise as my 4 year old, so those enzymes are definitely doing something!
Here’s the part I didn’t expect. My high stress lifestyle (2 teenage girls, a 4 year old, and caring for elderly parents would stress out Gandhi!) has given me high blood pressure and consequently a terrible amount of broken capillaries in my cheeks. They’re so ugly and they make me super uncomfortable. Since I’ve been doing the cleanse, they’re actually becoming much less noticeable. Which is amazing. I don’t have to put on ten lbs. of correcting foundation anymore.
I wish my C-section pouch would disappear, but sadly, it doesn’t look like it’s in the cards. That’s okay though. I can’t wear Spanx on my face. So I’m super happy I was able to try the cleanse.
You can find Hum Nutrition Cleanse To The Rescue™ at Amazon for a retail price of $48.
