Hoppy Easter! If you’re looking for a flavorful and unique Easter dessert, these Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg Turnovers are the perfect pick! They are so simple to make and are absolutely delicious. Not to mention, they are really pretty!
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs
- Chocolate chips
- 1 can crescent rolls
- class=”ingredient”>Candy melt or white chocolate (to melt and color pink, blue, yellow, and green for topping)
- Preheat oven according to crescent instructions.
The Process:
Begin by spreading the crescent dough out flat on a baking sheet. Pinch the seams together well. You should have a large rectangular piece of dough.
Crush the Peanut Butter Eggs.
Spread the crushed eggs and chocolate chips down the middle of the dough, using approximately ¼ to ½ cup of each.
Fold the dough from each side to meet in the middle. Pinch the dough together well to seal the seam.
Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes. Cut into wedges while still warm.
Once turnovers have completely cooled, melt and color candy melt or white chocolate and drizzle over top. I added additional crushed eggs to the top as well!
Place on a beautiful plate and serve! This simple but delicious dessert is sure to get some wows!
