THE MONTEREY BAY AQUARIUM

by

If you’re planning a family trip to the California Central Coast than it’s likely you already know about the many exciting things there are to do, especially in the city of Monterey. There’s fun for the whole family (and who doesn’t want to have fun, right?). There are so many fun-filled family activities to choose from and lots of beautiful sites to see in this charming waterfront community. If you’re an active family, there are plenty of activities that will literally keep your family busy for hours.

If you’re a beach bum (like myself), there’s literally no better place to go on the California Central Coast. If you’re into aquatic life, then you’ll definitely want to check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium, this place is SO amazing and the kids will absolutely love it! Also, don’t forget to check out Cannery Row — you never know what goodies you might find in this beautiful historic waterfront shopping district. Unique treasures, maybe? And, don’t forget to check out the Dennis the Menace Park. Fun! Fun! Fun!

If you’re going to visit the beautiful city of Monterey, you must visit the most exciting place there — The Monterey Bay Aquarium. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is the most exciting place to visit, especially if you’re an aquarium enthusiast who enjoys exploring aquatic life. The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a wide-array of beautiful sea-creatures and lots of fun activities that will amuse the whole family. Can you believe they have OVER 500 different species of marine life? How cool, huh?

VERY BEAUTIFUL, RIGHT?

The Monterey Bay Aquarium

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is very known for its many aquariums, which your family can explore through their aquarium map. Don’t forget to check out the map, it’s very helpful! There’s SO much to see and do at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Your family will be able to check out many sea-creatures from octopus to jellyfish. How awesome, right?

If you’re trying to enjoy the many interest of the sea-creatures on display, then please plan on your initial visit lasting between 1½ to 3 hours. By arriving early, you should be able to avoid the crowds. Also, there are daily programs and activities for first-time (and returning) visitors, so be sure to check them out to get the most out of your aquarium experience. If you like, they also have guided tours that will give you an in-depth and behind-the-scene tour of the aquarium.
