I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Panasonic. I received product samples as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Have you ever heard of Old Sacramento? Basically, our lovely little town was founded in the mid 1800s, and downtown, there are so many really cool old buildings, museums, eateries, and historic monuments. You don’t have to go far to have a day trip to remember around here. It really is cool to walk down the street and imagine the people that once walked the same paths.
I always picture the Charles Olsen types with the cowboy hats and suspenders and the women with hats, gloves, and long dresses. Um, if I ever had a chance to take a trip in a time machine, I’d probably go here in 1850. Until that time, though, I’ll have to just visit the museums. It’s awesome to see things from the California Gold Rush period.
Anyway, we took the munchkins down there for the day and we had so much fun! I was able to capture our memories with my Panasonic Lumix. The touch-enabled monitor in the new LUMIX G7 makes it so easy to take great pictures. Take a look at this one! #4KFun
This next wondrous picture was actually part of a video - The Panasonic LUMIX G7 allows me to choose “that moment” from 4K Ultra HD Video and extract it as an 8-megapixel still image. Of course we shared it with friends and family with the built in Wi-Fi easily connected at our favorite downtown restaurant.
I took lots of pictures. It was so easy with three exclusive 4K Ultra HD Video pause and extract 4K Photo Modes, 4K Pre-Burst, and 4K Start/Stop. #4KPhoto
My pictures look so great mostly because the exclusive DFD Focusing gives me fast and precise auto focusing by tracking the subject. It’s great for photographing moving things like trolleys and the kids running around.
It was a long day, but thankfully lugging the Panasonic LUMIX G7 around wasn’t a problem for me. The superb DSLM (M= Mirrorless) image quality makes this camera awesome without the bulk and weight of traditional DSLRs.
I’m looking into getting some of the class-leading, ultra-compact, interchangeable lens and accessory options next. Are you ready to extract the moment with 4K too?
